Sledge Hammer (Pryor 2004)
Dormant 34” tall 6.75” bloom Late Midseason Reblooms Tetraploid
Sledge Hammer has been a beautiful addition to our gardens since it's introduction in 2004. A large cultivar with big blooms, robust foliage, it quickly clumps up to form a big impression in the landscape. Bred in Tennessee where snow cover is unreliable and winter temperatures fluctuate SH has proven to be extremely hardy in the worst winter conditions.
A deep red/black/purple SH has a beautiful defining white edge and an apple green heart.
