Primal Scream has been a leader in the popularity polls for several years now. Recipient of the Stout Silver Medal for 2002, Primal Scream exemplifies the clarity and saturation of colour that is so important to so many of us.

This is a northern bred and northern hardy daylily, that has attractive spring foliage unlike many southern bred plants that take weeks to recover every spring.

Primal Scream is a traffic stopper. We’ve grown it in one of our gardens very close to a public walk, and it is a regular occurrence that passers-by stop, gasp and point.
