Persian Market is a perfect example of why we prefer to focus on a cultivars attributes other than how new it is. Introduced in 1969 by Bill Munson, PM has an incredibly beautiful garden presence. Clean dark green foliage, strong upright bloom scapes, large diamond dusted 7" blooms (they sparkle in the sunlight). PM is a tough and resilient daylily, not in the least bit fussy and asking only a little bit of water in the weeks leading up to bloom to allow the scapes and buds to develop to perfection.

Deep Rose with darker Rose Red eyezone. PM has an excellent clumping habit forming a large and attractive mound of foliage and blooms in a very short time.
