Autumn Minaret (Stout 1951)

Dormant          66” tall       4.5” bloom          Late Season           Diploid

Hybridized by the father of the modern daylily you can tell there is H. altissima in the bloodline of this famous but difficult to find cultivar. Registered at a height of 66 inches we have seen it bloom at 7 feet tall with ramrod straight and upright scapes.

Late blooming, AM may not start until sometime in August or even September.

Colour is a fulvous yellow. Maybe not the most exciting colour in the garden but it is fragrant and the extended blooms will last longer than 16 hours.

Blooming 7 feet tall in rich soil and full sun.
