Apricot (Yeld 1893)
Dormant 34” tall 4.5” bloom Extra Early Reblooms Diploid
Apricot is one of the extra early blooms in our garden. Bloom starts late May and continues into June. Introduced by George Yeld in 1893 Apricot is historically significant in that it is the first daylily cultivar ever introduced. Yeld crossed H. lilioasphodelus with H. middendorffii to create this exceptional May/June blooming daylily.
